Confirmation Service October 2025
On Sunday Woodschapel Parish was delighted to host a Confirmation Service for our own and our neighbouring parishes. In total twenty two young people were confirmed by the Archbishop of Armagh, the Most Rev’d John McDowell. It was lovely to share in fellowship and light refreshments in the hall before the service and equally uplifting to see the church so full for the occasion – especially on such a wet and windy day.
A big thank you to all who helped in any way to make the day such a memorable occasion. A special thank you to Rev'd Jackie Carson, Rev'd Rhonda Dempsey. the Rural Dean Rev'd Dr Iain Jamieson and Mr David Brown the Armagh Diocesan Youth and Children’s Development Officer who, between them, helped prepare
the young people for this important step along their faith journey.
We will continue to pray for God’s guidance and blessing in all that they choose to do in the future.
